It took a while to decide whether I liked this one...I finally figured out it was the smell that was putting me off. It tastes great, just don't inhale right as you take a sip. :-)
Am a new owner of a Keurig and have been having difficulty finding a coffee that I like -- until I tried Tully's French Roast Extra Bold. Can't understand the negative reviews from others! Beats me!
Boy was I disappointed. I had gotten my Keurig K-Cup Sampler Pack and had been pleased with every k-cup I sampled, until I reached this one. Tully's Extra Bold French Roast is definitely not for me. I often limit myself to two cups of coffee a day. And, there are some days that I need something stronger, so I was excited to try Tully's French Roast on one such occasion. The aroma grabbed me while it was brewing. I could not wait to try it. Once I put the cup up to my lips, I realized that I could have waited a little longer. I find this French Roast extremely acidic with an equally strong and unpleasant aftertaste. As I kept adding more cream and sugar, I came to the conclusion that this particular roast is just not for me.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Aftertaste
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This coffee is nearly flawless: dark, bold, robust, slightly smokey. Very close to the recent release of Starbucks French Roast, but with a smaller price tag!!
