I loved these markers. Was using a sharpie and it did not provide a dark enough line for a project I was working on. Tried these markers and it worked perfectly!! A nice dark line. My daughter comments “ wow these are nice markers where did you get them?” I’ll buy these over a sharpie !
It was really really hard to write 'wide' enough with these markers to be able to be seen in the classroom workshop. Also the two supposedly different colors of green markers (lighter and darker) are actually the exact same color of green. I'll stick with Sharpies flipchart markers. Even though Sharpies don't have as wide a variety of colors at least they can be seen. Not pleased with this purchase.
I loved the assortment and shape and style of the markers. They are great tips and I love the chiseled tips. The only reason my main purpose is poster boards or labeling boxes. The ink runs and takes a minute or 40sec. To dry. So if you write fast or over smooth surface like tape it smudges. It also gets on your writing hand. Other brands dry very fast and do not bleed or smudge. Looks beautiful works functional. Good for kids projects?!?!
I am a Sharpie Marker Teacher but I must say that the Staples Permanent Markers Chisel Tip are AWESOME. They write perfectly and are worth another trip to Staples to acquire all the colors possible.
