[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this printer ink to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used the Staples Remanufactured Black Standard Yield Toner Cartridge Replacement for HP 17A and all things considered I was reasonably happy with its functionality. The cartridge yielded prints sharp and consistent enough to surpass the original HP toner. In terms of price OEM cartridges are quite expensive and I found this to be a great value for every day printing needs. Straightforwardly the cartridge was just hassle-free to install. Nothing could go wrong as it fitted well with my HP printer-in no way were there matters pertaining to recognition or functionality. It is practically remanufactured in order to promote less waste and sustainability by practicing a reuse reduction in making this cartridge. Minimal protective packaging structure also goes hand in hand with the values of eco-consciousness. Impressed by really dark crisp text other than smudge-free and streak-free printing. These performed impressively on text-heavy documents as well as basic graphics. For those who are looking for a low-priced environment-friendly alternative for toner that does not sacrifice quality this is a great choice. I would surely consider buying this again!

While the remanufactured cartridges are normally only around $5 less on sale this was almost half the cost. Hard to beat at that price!

Eco friendly but not the easiest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this printer ink. I think the ink cartridges performance was above satisfactory but not the best I’ve ever had. Installation was a bit difficult but it was certainly outweighed by the fact that the product is eco friendly. One of the things I hate the most about printer ink is how wasteful it is on the backend - but this solves that problem which is why I give such a high rating! The printing quality was good overall but smudged a bit. I would recommend this product to anyone who weighs the environmental benefits a little more than the best printing quality!

Great quality printing

Especially considering how eco friendly it is- I thought it would be awful! It was really easy to install and that is coming from someone who is not a technologically savvy person. If I can do it anyone can. For how much I was able to print from this it’s a great value. Definitely worth your money and I’m so lucky it was gifted to me as part of the stellar product testing panel. Give it a try!!

Amazing job

It’s easy to install which saves a lot of time. The black quality is excellent and smudge free. It holds a great value for money as i get the desired results without wasting time and the product.
