I've been using the Staples brand of ink for my HP for a while now and I have to say I'm genuinely impressed. When it comes to ink I'm always a bit skeptical about remanufactured options but this one has completely changed my mind. The print quality is consistently sharp and dark just as good as the original Canon cartridges I used to buy. I haven't noticed any streaking or fading even on large print jobs. What really stands out to me is the yield. This "high yield" claim isn't just marketing fluff; it truly lasts a long time. I print a fair amount of documents from reports for work to school assignments for my kids and this cartridge keeps going and going. It feels like I'm replacing it far less frequently than I did with the standard Canon cartridges which is a huge relief for my wallet. Installation was a breeze exactly like putting in an original Canon cartridge. My printer recognized it immediately and I haven't encountered any compatibility issues or error messages which can sometimes be a concern with third-party inks. The ink itself worked fine but after just a few pages it started showing "ink running low"! Even though we kept printing for a little bit after it showed that it still ran out way faster then our old hp printer. Not sure if it's because this ink is refurbished or if the original "canon" version would be the same.

I bought the recycled cartridge because they were out of the Canon brand I usually buy. It didn’t work. I googled some tips but they didn’t help. Staples did give me my money back which I appreciated. I won’t buy the recycled ones again though.

I get it corporations have to raise the bottom line to keep shareholders happy. Staples is one of those companies. But prices for ink have reached the point where it is cheaper to replace the entire printer Just ask HP. There's some who cannot afford to pay outrageous prices for ink and there are those who simply refuse to pay such high prices. And then there's people who are both like me. Ink is ink is ink is ink. Thank you Staples for keeping it realistic.
