We normally don't buy "generic" ink cartridges but when Staples came out with the TRU RED version I thought they would be okay to use. The first few we tried worked but didn't seem to last as long as the Canon originals. Upon using a second cartridge several people started having Printer Error messages and nothing would even print. I returned all the cartridges we had left and purchased the Canon original versions. The savings were out weighed the headaches. Canon only from now on.

I have started printing some papers using the TRU RED remanufactured cartridge and it is really nice print. This cartridge of ink is just as good of a quality as the regular ink cartridges. But the cost of these are cheaper than name brand. I would recommend them to anyone needing ink as well as purchasing them again.
