Tru Red and Staples sent ink cartridges that do not fit my printer. The tri-color cartridges are fine if a little messy to install. But the black cartridges cannot be loaded. As a result I am without a working printer. On the positive side one call to the Tru Red number on the box may have resolved the problem. After checking that in fact the packaging indicated these were the correct items the tech asked for the individual serial numbers and model numbers on the cartridges themselves. He then confirmed that they were outdated versions and promised I would have two new cartridges within three days. He took only the necessary shipping information. So we’ll see on Friday.
