I did not like the TRU RED Black ink cartridge as well as the Canon 245XL Black Ink Cartridge and would not purchase it again if at all possible. My reasons for this opinion are as follows:(1) The TRU RED cartridge did not print vivid sharp or crisp copies at first and only after making a few copies did it get crisp and clear. (2) The ink in the TRU ED cartridge ran out much faster then the Canon 245XL Black Cartridge and because of not lasting as long had to be used for a shorter printing time and replaced sooner.
