Needed new black ink. So ordered the remanufactured ink cartridge to give it a try. Initially the ink would smear alittle after printing but soon stopped after several uses

Had to return it as the printer did not recognize it. Contacts were unclean and distorted. Was tpld whenI returned it that it is "catch as catch can".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the ink to print some pages it worked fine. The color was clear and dark but after a couple of days my printer kept saying I was low on ink and would not print. I tried to remove and re insert the cartridge but my printer would still not recognize it. When I put my old cartridge in it started working fine

This cartridge is meant to be able to print over 100 pages. I decided to get this one because of the price and the ease I’ve had in the past with recycling them vs recycling other brands. For whatever reason this time around the ink cartridge either was not full or is faulty. I printed 5 only 5 pages black and white text only pages. And my printer shows the cartridge as only 3/4 full. I thought at first it was my printer so I put it in another printer in the home and it showed the same thing. A bit disappointing. I’m hoping it was a faulty one as I’ve ordered in the past and never had this issue.
