Amazing, Futuristic, Slick design. Slim enough to fit between the bottom of my TV and its' stand, which is also Samsung. Awesome 1080 picture.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, fits anywhere
Cons: only one input/output

I bought because it has wifi builtin with netflix. So far it is working well.
Hope that will allow to add more apps.
It would be nice to allow to remove disco without stopping Netflix.
Needs some sort of front led to inform that is on.

this is a great blu-ray player. it has a very sleek design. my only complaint is that it does not have the Hulu+ application.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, built in wi-fi
Cons: no hulu+ app

I purchased this Blue-Ray player as a gift for my son to use in his bedroom. We do not have cable of any kind and instead have opted for a subscription to Netflix. This being the case I wanted to find a way for him to be able to watch Netflix in his room. I decided upon this Blue-Ray player because I have had good luck with Samsung products in the past and I liked the features, size, and shape of this unit. It is the perfect size for use in a bedroom or any other place where room is limited. The Blue-Ray player was incredibly easy to set up and the universal remote that comes with it was already pre-programed to control the Samsung TV we connected the Blue-Ray player to. This Blue-Ray player is very easy to use and it works perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone, and I plan on buying another one for my bedroom as soon as I am able. The one thing that surprised me a bit was that the only way to connect the Blue-Ray player to TV is via a HDMI Cable, and there isn't one included with the Blue-Ray player, you must supply that yourself. This wasn't a problem for me because I had a spare cable already. Although, this may be part of the reason the unit is so reasonably priced.
Pros: great value for the price, quality craftsmanship, ease of use
Cons: you must supply your own hdmi cable

i have the 6800, the 6500, and now this one. it by fat loads blurays faster than my others. plus it more compact and takes up less space. I love and bought one for my grandkids room to stream netflix. oh and btw..it loads netflix fatser too!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, does not take up much space, fsster streaming

I love this Samsung Blue ray player

I just unpacked this and set it up(super easy). Fantastic picture on my Samsung 60" DLP. The owners guide an d set up guide are well illustrated and easy to follow. I love the built in wifi. I'm thinking about buying 2 more for the bedrooms to go with those tv's

I had gotten another blu ray and had to take it back as it was faulty.
Very happy I had to. This is a much better blue ray and was much easier to set up. Have had no problems with it so far.
