Great Blu-ray player. I was not excited about having to learn how to use something complicated just to watch a few movies or get Netflix. This player is not complicated in the least from the connection to setup. Great value, picture quality and internet app access.
This unit came bundled with my TV purchase. I have only owned the unit a few weeks, but it works flawlessly so far. I am amazed that the Samsung TV and Blu-ray DVD talk to each other. Inserting a disc makes the TV automatically change to the DVD source. The wireless connection to my router was very easy. The quality of the Blu-ray is excellent. I use the digital optical audio output from the TV to my 7.1 home theater for surround sound.
Pros: good value, compact design, great wi-fi features
Cons: no audio output except thru the hdmi
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its great! Awsome features, good picture, great desing and a great deal. Its a great Blu ray player.
This Blu-ray player is great. It has a cool body style my other Blu-ray player doesn't have and was at the time affordable around black Friday. Although, I wish it had more apps you could download instead of just the five already pre-downloaded. It seems pretty durable and is not heavy at all.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no downlaodable apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good B-R player but...

My only real complain and the reason why I am writing this review is because the Netflix interphase has some issues specially with lagging and / or subtitles not being sync'd all the time. Some may say that the network may be a factor but I have placed my Android phone and my laptop next to the player and they do not have any issues at all. I think eventually Samsung will come out wit a firmware upgrade to fix the problem but for now, I am unable to use the only function that I wanted the player to have (Netflix). Also the buttons response in this same application is very (very) slow. About 5 - 10 seconds after I hit the button, the player keeps playing as if it did not receive any signal from the remote.
Not saying the player is bad, It is a good choice but beware of these issues if you want to but one.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, netflix lags
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good But with Flaws

I have an older Samsung Blu-Ray player that has more capability than this. First, there's no Hulu available for this. Strike 1. The device supports External Hard Drives, which was a HUGE selling point for me, but it doesn't recognize the SUPER popular .avi file format, which my other Samsung Blu-Ray player does... so Strike 2. Other than that, it's your average web-app enabled device. Netflix is great on it and the device does have internal WiFi, so... the count is 2-2. The price could be better for the features.
This Samsung Blu-ray player isn't as advanced as my other Samsung Blu-ray, but It's in the bedroom and will be fine. Plays great and looks great on my T.V.
