When I was replacing a DVD player I upgraded to a blu-ray unit. This one has built in WI-FI with a bunch of extras like Pandora and netflixs. It's easy to setup and doesn't take up much space. I think it is a Good Buy!
Pros: compact, lots of features, quality

I bought this at Best Buy with salespersons' recommendation. Needed something that could bring in my netflix app and play my dvds. This thing does it all and alot more. Greater picture quality, easier menu, easy to set up. The down sides are the set up is you are basically on your own, instructions almost non-existent. I'm still trying to figure out if the remote turns own my tv/netflix or not. I seem to need 3 remotes just as before. My xbox would not play dvds which was my major reason for buying this product. But at least the ups beat the downs and it has tremendous picture quality. It was still worth it. Thank you.

Cons: lacks better instructions

Samsung blu ray player

This is a solid, great performing, smart,blu ray player, by Samsung. It performs way better than my last one, don't go cheap or poor quality on a blu ray player.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Too big

I love this unit, Netflix is reachable via the remote =) I do admit that the player was a bit slow, but the firmware upgrade greatly improved speed and responsiveness. The network setup went very smoothly and the wireless is built in, very small cord footprint. Lastly it's compact, contemporary, and sleek. I greatly enjoy it !
