This TV is good. It is a bit thick and mounts far away from the wall.

2nd Defective Samsung Blu-ray player

My first Samsung Blu-ray player stopped playing Blu-rays about one month ago. I was told that the player's Blu-ray laser was defective and that I needed to purchase a new one. I purchased this player for the Wi-Fi capability. The player started working great. About one hour into the first Blu-ray we watched on this player, the player froze and woud no longer read Blu-rays. I have owned this player for a total of 4 hours and am returning it to the store. I purchased from.
I will no longer purchase Samsung products as they are low-quality.
Cons: Poor quality, fragile, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I could not believe the price was so reasonable with the features. It is was purchased to go with the old tv in the bedroom but its performance is excellent. If my living room unit wasnt part of an old surround sound system then this one would be in there.I have really been happy with it and it was easy to setup and link with my PC for viewing media from there as well.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color

love the easy install, easy WiFi access. nice compact size. wish it included how to program remote for TV & Blu-Ray together. Doesn't state on box that you must purchase an HDMI cable separately (would give 5 stars if that was on the box).

This product was a gift. It was very easy to set up and is easy to operate. It plays discs very well and connecting to the internet was quite simple.
It could use an additional connection to connect directly to older surround sound equipment. My surround sound must come through the TV when using this product, which isn't ideal.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have been using the e5400 for a few months now, it really is a great device for the pricetag. If you don't have a 3d tv, this is the blueray for you. The device is avery lightweight, compact design. Delievers an excellent picture quality to your tv. The built in smart apps are a joy to use, and i love the netflix and pandora shortcut buttons being right on the remote. the use of allshare with other samsung devices makes this little blue ray a very good value. one of the cheaper built in wifi blu rays on the market, but certainly not poor quality. i like the inclusion of the screen saver feature, it really puts me at ease when i am watching content late at night in bed. no longer woried about my plasma tv getting a burn in if i fall asleeep, the screen saver has got your back.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, built in wifi, screen saver feature, allshare
Cons: not 3d

You can not tell when the player is on or off, there should be a power light in the front not on the TOP.
