The Sumatran Reserve Extra Bold is a full-bodied blend. It's smooth, not bitter at all. It's the perfect cup of coffee for those who love their coffee to "taste" like coffee!! Excellent and I highly recommend.

Nice roast, but a bit bitter

This is a nice strong roast that is quite pleasing; the only con is that it is slightly more bitter than some of the other dark roasts available.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity

I like a nice strong cup of coffeee and when I first purchased my Keurig I was worried after trying a few types that I had made a mistake...but alas I tried the Sumatran Reserve. It is dark, bold, flavorful with a wonderful bouquet that fills the room. It stays smooth but is strong enough to pair with a nice cigar.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Strong but good, Smooth Taste, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body

Very Strong Coffee

This is one of the stronger coffee's I have tried in K-cups and one of the few that I didn't think had a very bitter taste to it. I usually use one k-cup for about 16oz of coffee (2 brewings) so many coffee's turn out weak, but this one was still strong and pretty highly caffeinated. If you like your coffee strong I would defiantly recommend trying this one.
Pros: STRONG BUT NOT BITTER, Pleasing Roast, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity

Sumatra Reserve Extra Bold has just become my favorite coffee - it beat out Tullys Italian Roast Extra Bold and Newmans Special Blend E/B. I brew two small cups from one K-Cup and this is the best so far (since 2/10). It renders DELICIOUS flavor and ample caffeine!! (as do the others but "SREB" is even better). I'll order more!!
