A Great Purchase

This shredder has a great micro shred. It is very quite when in use. It has a great safety features: over heating protection, jam resistance, safety lock, etc. This shredder offers me piece of mind.

Sturdy and Efficient Small Shredder

This is the third Fellows shredder we have owned. All three have performed very well during years of use. We especially like the Microshred features on the 60MC model. It is the first microshred model we have had and we feel that it does an excellent job of cutting through the papers and producing small, unrecognizable pieces. We also appreciate that the output pieces take up less room in the storage compartment and in the trash bag.
Pros: Quality Construction, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Sheet Capacity
Cons: Mess Reduction

We are very pleased with the shredders quiet and effective performance. We initially thought that this shredder was going to be our secondary unit, however it may become our primary shredder.

Great Shredder

I previosly owned a Fellowes cross cut paper shredder that did the a great job for over thirteen years. I bought this micro cut Fellowes shredder at a great price. It is a little smaller but shreds a lot quieter. Fellowes makes very dependable products.

Just what I needed for home use

This product is working exactly as detailed. I particularly like the lock feature as grandchildren will be wandering around. It is quiet, and shreds as indicated. It fits neatly under my desk and with the wheels is easy to move around. In addition, I really like the pullout bin. The one thing I had a problem with was attaching the caster wheels. They do not just fit in. You must use a hammer or similar object to push them into the holes and the directions did not indicate this. I actually used a soft headed hammer and it worked. But I was afraid the whole time that I might crack the plastic insert.

Cons: caster assembly needs more info in instructions

They should simply push in as the instructions direct, but as you noted, it may tale a bit more pressure. A light tapping with a rubber mallet was definitely a good solution and we are glad you were able to install them successfully!

We had issues with the shredder not shutting off automatically and also the lights did not indicating that the shredder was on or running after only having it for 6 months. This is a replacement which was sent to us by Fellowes Customer Service for the same shredder. Hopefully this shredded will last longer than the previous one we purchased.
