Great product, smells terrible

This product works amazingly well, but I can't deal with the lingering fragrance. It doesn't even smell good and it makes me sneeze. Yet another amazing product ruined by fragrance. Who wants to eat off of dishes that have a hint of "fresh scent."

Our unique product perfumes are blended with the greatest care and utmost attention to safety, and there's no safety concerns with eating off dishes which have been washed with this product. We suggest using this product in a well-ventilated area, and to make sure to spray it away from your face. It may also help to hold your dishes at an arm’s length to increase the distance between the spray and your nose/mouth area. I bought this to clean my granite countertops, it works great!! I clean so much with it shower doors, appliances besides dishes.. I'll have repurchased quite a few times already.

Works well, smells terrbile

Easy and effective way to use detergent. The smell is terrible. (currently using green apple)
Used to wash a plastic water bottle, and can not rinse the smell and taste out of it.

We wouldn’t expect Dawn to leave a strong smell and taste on your dishes. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become worn to the point of being porous, it’s possible. It may be helpful to know that cast iron and plastic items in particular can absorb flavors. We suggest not soaking porous items, and making sure to wash them immediately and to rinse thoroughly. As well, this product isn’t meant to have an off-odor, but it may smell differently than intended when mixed with certain foods. Hate the handle

The handle is so awkward that you have to use two hands to spray anything. The product works fine but it’s a nuisance to have to use two hands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could be better

I love the way the product works. Saves me from having to scrub. The bad part is the smell. Fragrance is way too strong.

Days old dishes

Due to the extreme weather events in Texas we were out of water for 6 days. I had dishes piled up as well as pots and pans. I used the Dawn Powerwash on the most stubborn dishes - worked great! Really reduced the amount of scrubbing I had to do. I will definitely keep some on hand.

sprayer doesn't work

I bought this today and I love the fresh scent and I have always loved Dawn products this sprayer does not work. When you squeeze the sprayer it just runs down the side of the bottle and does not spray at all.

We'd be happy to share some tips to help get your Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray working as it should! First, please make sure that the trigger is unlocked. To do this, check to see that the yellow markings on top of both the sprayer and the nozzle are lined up exactly. We suggest priming the bottle by giving the trigger 3-5 full pulls. As well, you can squeeze the body of the bottle while pulling the trigger to ensure that any trapped air will be forced out. It may also help to run the nozzle under warm water for a minute or two.
