Not Free and Clear of Fragrance

The "free and clear" label is very misleading. The product contains "Fragrance Allergen(s) according to the ingredients list. I used it and wondered my hands itched and turned red every time. Why should my dishes smell like pears? I don't know, I'll never use this dish soap again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bring Back Platinum Foam !!!

WHY DID YOU CHANGE? I get the innovation drive and wanting to bring a new product into the market, it was worth the try. Now do what Coke did and bring back the original foam as the primary product in this class. -Platinum Power wash doesn't work as well as the Platinum Foam. I can taste the spray after the application. PLEASE KEEP THE PLATINUM FOAM ON THE MARKET AND GET THE RETAILERS TO MAINTAIN ON THE SHELF. We love your products overall.

We still make our Platinum Erasing Foam. If you are having trouble finding it, we suggest you ask your store manager to order and stock it for you. We don't control which products individual retailers decide to stock; let them know you want it!
Additionally, there should never be residue left behind to cause a taste on your dishes. However, if the dish soap isn't completely rinsed off OR if they have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous. Our Dawn Pure Essentials have the lightest scents, and may be the best option for you. Give us a call with your questions at (800) 725-3296.

Free and clear is very misleading

Due to a medical condition I cannot have any products that have added fragrance. When I saw Dawn Platinum Power Wash - Free & Clear I was excited this was a product I could use. I trusted it was free and clear of dyes and perfume/fragrance and other products are that have FREE AND CLEAR on the label. Once I used the product it was evident it was scented, in small print under FREE AND CLEAR it says free of dyes, lightly pear scented. As a result I cannot use it. I’m frustrated that Dawn used this terminology that typically indicates NO dyes or scents.

Smells hideous

We don't really use products like this in our house, but a well-meaning acquaintance gifted a bottle to my 17-y-o daughter because she said it was an incredible product. Sadly, it didn't get my daughter to do dishes and it didn't wow me either. The smell is the main thing (we got the apple scent). It makes the kitchen smell like a cocktail made of cheap tequila and Halloween candy. And frankly it doesn't seem to work any miracles. Just works the same as my regular environment-friendly product. Now I'm looking for a random 17-y-o to gift the rest of the bottle to...

We Need FRAGRANCE FREE please !

I love this product. I have told everyone I know how great it is. Imagine how disappointed I was when I went to look for a fragrance free version and none exists, not even this one. As someone is is allergic to fragrances this doesn't help me so I can't buy your product any longer. Please take the pear scent out or create a zero fragrance version for this of us allergic to fragrances.

Disappointing Changes!

Please remove fragrance! The free and clear has a pear scent and the fresh scent is now “fresh clean scent” despite product description just saying “fresh scent” but being heavily perfumed. There is no need to have strong perfume in your dish soap or for it to smell like food. The smell bothers me so much that I will return the product and go back to using regular dawn soap. Why mess with a good thing? As they say, “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”

NEW SCENT IS HORRIBLE

I’ve used Dawn power wash since it came out and have loved it! But they recently have changed the original “fresh scent” and it now smells HORRIBLE. The scent gives me a headache and makes me nauseous. I thought I accidentally bought the wrong one and threw it out. Went to buy another one and same thing. Can’t find the old scent anywhere. I will stop using this until they change the scent back. Why change something that was perfect?! I’m so upset!! Please change the scent back to the original. I am BEGGING you!!

Great Product - Why Does It Need to Be Scented

The product is wonderful. It cleans dishes and pots amazingly well. I love the sprayer, etc. I had been using the blue version and saw that it was available "Free & Clear". I got some today. I was shocked that it, also, has a very strong smell, just like the blue version does. WHY WHY WHY does it need any scent at all? The blue scent was sickening and very, very strong. I thought P&G finally "got it" and went with a version for those of us who don't need fake scents. But I guess not. Please consider removing the fake scent from this product or adding an unscented one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
