amazing product, gross scent

I absolutely love this product with the exception of the scent. The smell is horrible, like cheap perfume. I hope I can find another scent or scent free to try, but the actual product is amazing. cuts the grease and cleans surfaces extremely well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor design.

After just two days the applicator pump stopped working. I had to transfer the product into a trigger pump bottle. Won't buy this again.

Dawn Powerwash Spray Bottle Feature

Unfortunately, the spray bottle is not easy to use. It’s very hard to squeeze the handle to dispense the dish detergent. I have other cleaning products with a squeeze handle that I have no problem using. Hopefully, modifications can be made to improve the spray bottle. Otherwise, I like the Dawn dishwashing products.

We're sorry you are having difficulty squeezing the handle for your Dawn Powerwash, Anne. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. Make sure the trigger is unlocked. The product should be in the locked position on store shelves. A cutout in the white plastic shows a yellow marking at the top of the sprayer. The tip of the nozzle also has a cutout. It is unlocked when those cutouts are matched up, and the yellow shape is completed. It is locked when the cutouts are not matched up and the yellow shape is incomplete. To unlock the nozzle, grasp the tip of the nozzle and turn to match up the cutouts. Once unlocked and ready to spray, ensure to pull the trigger firmly and all the way for a full spray. So we can help you get back to spraying away those dirty dishes, please call us at (800) 725-3296 Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.

Terrible! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This product is a joke! Does not work at all! It loos so much much better in the commercials but it is not at all usefull in real life even if you soak it overnite!

Awesome on stubborn build up on pots & pans

I love using this product on pots & pans especially. However, I wish P&G would offer a gallon refill option. It seems to me that there is a lot of wasted plastic because you can't refill the soap in the container.

Tasting Dawn in food!

I started using Dawn Powerwash on a cast iron pizza pan and loved how it cleaned. I wash the pan, rinse it well and apply oil. Now, I'm tasting and smelling Dawn on anything I cook on this pan. What's the deal?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but probably bad for your health

It washes dished great, but it burns my nostrils when i spray it and some of the spray gets inhaled

I used to love the product until they changed the formula. The new scent is horrible and gives me a headache? Dawn, why would you ruin a good thing? Can you please go back to the old formula??
