Innovative, but not the product for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product but it just isnt right for me. Not saying it isn't wonderful, it is, I guess I just prefer washing dishes the old fashioned way in hot, soapy water.
This is easy to use and sprays nicely. The soap is nice and sudsy. It just doesnt live up to the "spray, wipe, rinse" motto written on the bottle. Even immediately after cooking and spraying this on, it still had to soak in order to come clean. It is great to use on very lightly soiled dishes such as a cereal bowl or something with a thin sauce....but if the dish sits for a period of time, it will need to soak for sure.
I love Dawn. It has been my go to dish detergent for many years, but I think i will just stick to my tried and true original blue soap! This new Powerwash is innovative and a great concept, however I think it just needs a little more work.

Product good but cannot dispense

I bought this twice at two different locations, and both with bottles the spray trigger bends after and handful of uses. And YES, P&G customer service, I did align the spray tip to unlock the bottle. The product inside might be good; but they used a cheap worthless package for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good product, bad dispenser

As anyone can see reading these reviews, a LOT of consumers are stuck with a nozzle that won't spray. My refill wouldn't work and I recalled the same experience months earlier. As for calling a 1-800 we're-so-sorry number,I don't have time for that nonsense. They are making an inferior, flawed dispenser, they know it, and that's how it will stay. I'll just get another brand. Problem solved. Too bad they rolled this out with such a sloppy design because Dawn itself is an excellent product.

Refill is not easy

I love the dawn product. I have used it since day one and will continue to use it. I ran out of the power wash spray and purchased the refill bottle. Well, I cannot get it to spray for my life!!! It can't be that hard. The notch is lined up on top, I have squeezed to get possible air out. It just will not work. Help!!!

Thanks for reaching out to Dawn, and for loving your Powerwash as much as we do. We're sorry to hear you're having problems getting your refill to work, it may be possible your dip tube and trigger aren't lined up. The dip tube is the straw that goes into the bottle, check and see it's still attached to the sprayer, and that it's resting near the bottom of the refill, in the same corner and the nozzle is facing. If this isn't the case, remove the top, realign the two, so they're going the same way, then, give it another try. Need more help? Nozzle leaks something horrible

I bought the pump with refills, and I now have two bottles that don't have a pump for the product. You pull the trigger, and the liquid streams out all over the place, running down the trigger, into your hand. It's the biggest waste of product since it's streaming out versus a nice spray. Plus, since it streams out, the product doesn't coat with a foam like it should. Horrible and a huge waste of money on a product that I now can't use as intended. I just need a new pump handle, and there's no way to request one. Nice.

To change the refill bottles, please remove the sprayer from the empty bottle by turning counterclockwise to release. Next, remove and discard the disposable cap from the refill bottle. Finally, place the sprayer on a full refill bottle and give ¼ turn clockwise to secure. And most important: Ensure the dip tube and trigger are in the same direction. Miracle

I have always used Dawn products, however this new Dawn Power wash is a miracle! I use it on everything!!!! I am a flight attendant and I take a small bottle on it on every trip. I use it on the plane and if I get something on a uniform. I LOVE it!!!!

Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray. What a great invention. I save on dish soap in the traditional squirt bottle.. Cleans awesome. At the age my siblings and are now at, we don't really spend too much thought on Christmas presents. We just pick something consumable and useful. Last year I gave everyone a case of toilet paper. This year it will be a case of this dish soap! :)

Excellent produit

J’utilise ce produit ça fait plus de deux ans et c’est le meilleur produit qui peut servir à plusieurs choses. C’est un dégraissant très puissant sur l’acier inoxydable, je lave les vitres et c’est un détachant puissant sur beaucoup de surface, maintenant, j’ai adopté power wash et ça remplace beaucoup de produits en une seule bouteille. Je suis très satisfaite de tout ce que ce produit peut faire. Je ne peux plus m’en passer.
