Not as effective as advertised.

Does not work as advertised, made lasagna over the weekend and it was less effective than soaking and hitting the pan with a scrubber. Sprayed twice and allowed 15 minute to work. It did nothing.

It's also formulated with a combination of ingredients optimized to provide rapid cleaning on tough greasy messes. To achieve the best results, be sure to scrape all chunks of food and grease from cookware before applying the spray. It performs best when sprayed directly on soiled dishes, before adding water. For heavily soiled dishes, let the spray foam suds sit for 3-4 minutes. Water is only needed for the final step, just spray, wipe & rinse. Refilling Breaks Sprayer?

We're sorry your Dawn Powerwash isn't working after changing the refill. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. Remove the sprayer from the empty bottle by turning it counterclockwise to release. Then, remove and discard the disposable cap from the refill bottle.Place the sprayer on a full refill bottle and give ¼ turn clockwise to secure. Made me ill

Smells like fish. Started burning my nose and then throat after spraying. Made me feel kind of sick. Didn't even work very well. Plain old liquid soap works just as well. Never buying this stuff again and wish I could get my money back.

We suggest making sure that you’re using this product in a well-ventilated area, and that it’s being sprayed away from your face. It may also help to hold the dishes at an arm’s length to increase the distance between the spray and your face. While our Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray isn’t meant to have an off-odor, it can smell differently than intended when mixed with certain foods. As well, we’d expect this product to deliver a powerful clean, since it features spray-activated suds that cut through grease on contact. For heavily soiled dishes, we suggest letting the suds sit for about 3-4 minutes, and then rinsing and wiping. Smells like fish

I bought this in the fresh scent and I’m really disappointed in the smell. It smells sour... like fish food or seaweed? I thought it was maybe just me but I asked my husband and he smells it too. Perhaps I got a bad batch? Everyone raves about it but I can’t get past the smell. It makes me feel sick.

Better engineering needs on the sprayer!

Weak sprayer tigger that bends when using and the product itself I’d difficult to judge because it won’t spray. Please fix the sprayer.

A lot of thought goes into the design of our products, so we're sorry that this has been your experience. We suggest to making sure that the yellow markings that can be found on the top of the sprayer and nozzle are lined up exactly. If it's off, this may lead to the trigger bending. Once damaged, the trigger may continue to bend even when lining up the circle. We'd be happy to look into this further and see how we can best make this right for you. The Sprayer is bad. No longer is a cone spray.

The Changes that P&G /Dawn to their sprayer has reduced my desire to further buy the product. Instead of the liquid coming out as a cone, it now comes out of the bottle in a straight spray. Which does not evenly work well across anything that I am washing. Bad move PG!!!!!!

What you're describing isn't what we expect, as we've not made any changes with how our sprayer works. It's possible you may not have the yellow half-circles lined up correctly between the top of the sprayer and the nozzle. It's also possible the mechanism may have been damaged after its last check by our Quality Team, as every Powerwash is checked, making sure every bottle works correctly. Terrible, absolutely terrible. I don't find the smell remarkable, but I need so very, very many sprays to get one pan clean, it's simply not worth it. I can't believe Dawn makes this diluted trash, and I'm worried they are discontinuing their excellent product, the erasing foam. ERASING FOAM IS THE BEST CLEANER MADE.
