New scent is awful!

Oh Dawn what have you done? I don't care if it's your first change in 10 years, I don't care if there were a gazillion "consumers" in your test that loved it, your true customers are telling you this new scent is awful! I can't even use it because the scent bothers me that much. Please bring back the original scent, don't fix what ain't broke!! And no I don't want to try your free and clear product...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In case no one else has mentioned it, this product is difficult to impossible for arthritic old hands. I would not buy it again.

Please provide larger refills

My wife loves this product, but is about ready to stop using it. It is pretty poor that there are no large sized refills available? Why do we need to purchase a bunch of child-sized refills? A responsible producer of a water-based product like this would create a gallon-sized carton that consumers can use to refill their reusable spray bottles. And I know you have you pre-canned yadda yadda "we've always been environmental aware" ready to go... but no, really, by your actions, no you haven't.

How to remove cover on refill?

I love Dawn, but short of cutting the top off the refill bottle, my wife and I have tried everything. One would think it would twist off / unscrew like a normal bottle, but we've been squeezing so hard as to explode the bottle. Either these are glued on, or there is some trick to it?

Cap on refill bottle hard to remove

I’ve read the thread and whoever is answering seems to miss the point. The cap on the refill bottle is difficult to remove. Is there a secret on how to remove the cap on the refill bottle. The issue is “NOT” the sprayer. It’s the solid white cap on the refill bottle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

products good. bottle cap removal bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is almost impossible to remove the cap from the refill bottle. I am a senior and have some arthritis in my hands. I finally had to break the cap with a knife to remove it. It seems to me that seniors should be considered when designing the bottles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

We have a food service facility. After buying the first bottle, we were so happy with the ease of cleaning the greasy equipment. However, since that first bottle, we have purchased 4 more only to have each pump stop working after only a few uses. Once the pump is not working, it defeats the whole purpose of the product. We might as well just buy the platinum dish soap and pour it on the equipment. So VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

We are sorry you are having problems with your Dawn Powerwash not spraying after a few uses, Ollie. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results. Here are a few suggestions we want to share that might help your Dawn Powerwash to spray:
* Upside-down use: The bottle is not designed to be used in an upside-down position. We ask you to spray several times into the sink in an upright position. * Clogging: Run warm water over the nozzle for a few minutes to loosen any clogs that may have occurred. * Dip tube: If this happens when the bottle is almost empty, it could be that the dip tube doesn’t reach the solution or is facing the wrong direction. The correct direction for the dip tube is in the same direction as the sprayer, and the bottom of it should be in the corner. To change the direction of the dip tube, disconnect the sprayer from the bottle and reconnect it.
So we can get you back to spraying away those dirty dishes, please call us at (800) 725-3296 Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
