I'll never stop using it.

I have loved the Dawn Platinum Powerwash from the first time that I used it. From the pots and pans, dishes, stove, tub, car tires, and rims. You name it, I've probably sprayed it on it. Sometimes it's spray and let it sit a bit but it always helps and makes it easier. I won't lie, It costs more but is worth the extra money for what it saves me.

Great for cleaning, BAD for environment

I actually really like this product, but the only refills that are available are in small, heavy-duty, plastic bottles. The P&G website offers some "fluff" about recycling plastic, but, no matter how much I like this product, it is NOT good for the environment because of the packaging. I bet this review will not be displayed.

Yuck!

I bought this thinking it was the classic, unscented Dawn dishwashing refill. The “Fresh Clean scent” is actually a cloying, overpowering smell that is distasteful and unnecessary. Why does everyone now feel the necessity of adding artificial aromatics to their products? If your kitchen smells so bad you need this, take the time to clean it thoroughly! I can’t find the original on the store shelves any more, either because they’re bought out before I get there or simply not provided. After being a longtime customer, I’m going to have to switch.

We can assure you that a lot of thought goes into creating features that we think you'll like, though we certainly understand that preferences can vary from person to person. We did update the scent for our Dawn Powerwash Fresh in January 2024, and it's now called Fresh Clean. We'd like to mention that our Fresh scent is no longer available. While we don't currently offer an unscented Powerwash, you can find our lightest scent in our Dawn Free & Clear Powerwash. We also have our Dawn Free & Clear Fragrance-Free available in our traditional hand dishwashing liquid. We hope this is helpful, and your comments will be shared with our team. Terrible new scent. Bring back the fresh scent.

Bring back the old fresh scent. This new "fresh clean" is horrible! The smell goes straight up your nose and will give you a headache. I can't even use it. Threw them right in the trash. Which is a real bummer used to love this stuff always had many on hand!

We're sorry you're not a fan of it. Your safety is our top priority; please, stop using this dish spray so you'll remain safe. Although our Safety Team does review all of our products and the ingredients used in them, making sure they're only the highest quality so you'll be safe when using them, you may have a unique circumstance that has led to what you've described. Best product ever!

This is the best product I’ve ever used. It will remove anything that is stuck to a pan or dish, even burnt or caked on. It also removes oil and grease stains out of clothing, Im a sneaker head and it even cleans sneakers better than anything I’ve ever used. You spray it on and you can watch the dirt push right up to the top of the foam. It’s really amazing stuff.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dangerous vapors to inhale

Trying to keep this short and sweet.
1. Use soap, does the same thing for cheaper, a bottle lasts wayyy longer.
2. The vapors are dangerous!!! This hits my chest so hard! I have to turn my head the other way to use it! I had a cough for a month and now it’s walking pneumonia (which I’ve never had before) and I went to use this today and instantly my chest tightened up. There’s no way it’s safe to inhale these tiny soap grease cutting particles!!!

THE SMELL

The smell is AWFUL it took me back for a second, before I brought my hands to my face and it literally made me gag and shake my head in a panic. Please bring the original back! This is absolutely unusable & I will unfortunately have to switch brands

I used this product to wipe down my refrigerator’s water dispenser area and it stripped the stainless coating perhaps the packaging should provide more details on applicable surfaces
