Pump Failed

My wife bought this a month (?) ago and I attached the refill after the pump failed to spray soap, hoping that would fix it. It still doesn't work, I'm back to washing dishes with the old soap, and my wife announced that product is on the do not purchase list.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like you to be able to get back to enjoying an easy yet effective clean with our Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray, so we'd be happy to share some tips with you! First, check to see that the trigger is unlocked. To do this, make sure that the yellow cutouts on the top of the sprayer and nozzle are lined up. Prior to the first use, the bottle may need 3-5 full trigger pulls to begin spraying. As well, try squeezing the bottle while pulling the trigger, as this should force out any trapped air. Love Dawn dishsoap. Tried their new spray bottle. The product overspray and smell was overwhelming. Waste of money and reorder the original.

Our Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray is designed to have a semi-continuous spray, so it's possible that it may continue to spray even after you release the trigger. To avoid overspray, we suggest moving the sprayer closer to the dishes and not moving away before you release the trigger and the sprayer has stopped spraying. As well, this product is

WASTE OF MONEY

I tried on numerous dishes and it did not work. I even let it sit like the directions stated. I love regular Dawn dish soap so this is a huge disappointment.

As you mentioned, we do recommend letting the spray foam suds sit for 3-4 minutes before wiping and rinsing if you're washing heavily soiled dishes. As well, make sure you only add water during rinsing. If water is added earlier, it'll dilute the cleaning power of the product. foam comes out in globs, still have to scrub. Heve to rinse it off before scrubbing because it burns my fingers

Also, run warm water over the nozzle for a few minutes to help loosen any clogs that may have occurred. Don't Waste your Money

I bought this new Dawn Ultra Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray and it couldn't even clean my Griddler Plates with very little grease on them. It was the first time I tried it and the LAST! I used it according to the directions and it didn't work. I tried it again and it still didn't work. So I had to scrape it like I always do, then use my regular Dawn. A total waste of money and time. Don't believe the commercials!

Sprayer Stopped Working

I have enjoyed using the product, but before finishing the first bottle, the sprayer stopped functioning. I tried all of your suggestions...making sure the yellow is lined up, rinsing the nozzles for a few minutes, and squeezing the bottle while pumping the trigger. Nothing seems to work. When I squeeze the bottle detergent starts to ooze out but from places other than the nozzle. How many reviews are needed before you realize there is a quality issue with the nozzle?

Dog oil and dishes

This product is great on dishes, but I used it outside. We have two labs and they like to rub up against the wall outside. Labs naturally have oil on their fur and the rubbing up against the wall left a wide line of dirt that did not easily wash off due to the oil. Sprayed with Dawn Platinum Powerwash, rubbed it with my hand, and spayed with water. Dirt came right off. Love this product! So many uses.
