New scent stinks

We love the way Dawn washes. However, the New Clean Scent is overpowering and we miss the old one. Bring back the old Dawn!!!!!

I fell for the TV ads. I purchased Dawn Power Wash because I had some pots that had some stains. On TV the Power Wash took the stains immediately. Not true, it took some out but not all and I used it 3 times, stains still there. It was a total waste of money. Now I understand all the One Star reviews.

Updated Fresh Scent is TERRIBLE

Loved this product until recently when they updated the scent. It's awful. Always loved Dawn products but I'll be shopping for a new dish soap. The smell is that bad. I've tried the clear one but there's nothing light about the pear scent.

It may help to know we have tested Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray on the following items/materials, and we've found they can be used on them: cleaning sinks, grills, solid Corian surfaces, light and dark Granite, Quartz, Porcelain Enamel, and Stainless Steel. You can also use Powerwash to pretreat grease stains on laundry. Before using the Spray, we suggest testing its performance in an inconspicuous place. It may help to talk with the manufacturer's of these items to learn the best way to address this issue. this product works nothing like advertised,all it is is watered down dawn dish detergent. although i still consider dawn dish detergent better than others,and will pay more for it,,i dont think its fair to mislead consumers into buying the powerwash spray for a higher price for a watered down product which does nothing it claims.

Great idea, lousy construction.

The sprayer simply does not work. I have spent many years diagnosing failures in products ranging from appliances to sophisticated military systems and the pump in this product does not work as expected. This could be a great product but the manufacturer has to re-design the sprayer pump for it to be successful. It spurts and bubbles and does not spray. It is really 0 stars.

We're sorry you are having difficulty squeezing the handle for your Dawn Powerwash, Ronr. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results, so we don't expect these things to happen. Make sure the trigger is unlocked. The product should be in the locked position on store shelves. A cutout in the white plastic shows a yellow marking at the top of the sprayer. The tip of the nozzle also has a cutout. It is unlocked when those cutouts are matched up, and the yellow shape is completed. It is locked when the cutouts are not matched up and the yellow shape is incomplete. To unlock the nozzle, grasp the tip of the nozzle and turn to match up the cutouts. Once unlocked and ready to spray, ensure to pull the trigger firmly and all the way for a full spray. So we can help you get back to spraying away those dirty dishes, please call us at (800) 725-3296 Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
