Best phone case for motorcycle

From the iPhone 12 Pro, to the iPhone 15 Pro, and now the iPhone 17 Pro, the Peak Design Mobile system has been my most satisfying motorcycle phone mount so far.

This heavy iPhone case is designed to protect your device effectively. Its MagSafe is incredibly strong, ensuring that all MagSafe accessories stick securely. The carefully chosen colours and materials create an elegant look. Overall, it’s an amazing product.

Good addition to the PD ecosystem!

Overall a well made phone case with the typical PD focus on details. Screen with protector sits flushed but still protected by the case’s edge. May not be the case though with thicker screen protectors. Major gripes: The loop sits a tad too low for my hand/index finger which affects iPhone 17 PM grip and stability. The edge of the Tan version of the case discolours after about 2 month’s of use; even with daily light wipe downs with a moist cloth. Minor gripe: Buttons’ edges feel sharp.

Mobile gears for cases

I’ve been buying Peak Design’s iPhone cases since PD launched and always buy before iPhone arrived. I like connectors of the case so that I can use PD’s mobile gears. I hope PD can launch gears which can be used more around me, like belt, bags, neck holders.

Great, but there's always room for improvement

I would rate this case 4.5 stars. Half a star is deducted because it’s not possible to connect a DJI receiver (including the DJI Mic mobile receiver) directly to the USB-C port without removing the case or using an adapter
Overall, it’s a solid case for the price. Compared to similar alternatives, Peak Design offers reinforced MagSafe, an extremely convenient mounting system (especially if you’re already in the Peak Design ecosystem), a slim design, and very pleasant tactile feel. I also find the standard version preferable to the GNAR version, as the latter appears to lack sufficient bezel thickness, according to reviews, placing it screen-down may cause the display to rub against surfaces. I’d recommend checking reviews carefully
The buttons feel great, and the option to attach an Anchor is very convenient
If Peak Design eventually addresses the USB-C opening size (if this is still relevant for users) and introduces its own ND filters or adapts the cases for third-party ND filters, I’d gladly give 10 out of 5 stars
There’s always room for improvement, but it’s clear that this company listens to its users, thank you
