ORBI WiFi 7 tripled my speeds throughout both floors of my home. It resolved the buffering and lost connections. Very pleased I bought this system!! Support was excellence as well!!
I've been trying to adapt to the lack of easy user changes with the Netgear system, but it's just too limited after using a Linksys tool. My old Linksys was almost 8 years old and not up to todays higher fiber speeds so I switch back to Netgear. Wish I had not. The problem is trying to connect older smart home systems that still (even today) require 2.4 to connect. This system says it connect both 5 and 2.4 but the connection isn't easy and it doesn't stick. My garage door control still refuses to connect, my door camera flips over to 5 and drops signal and my HDTV connects to 2.4. I lack the control I once had with my older system and wish they would update their app so that I could take control with the Orbi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for your review and valuable feedback. We would like an opportunity to improve your experience with your devices connecting to your RBE372. Orbi WiFi 7 Mesh networks are encrypted with WPA2-PSK + WPA3-Personal encryption by default. This is because it is the best blend of compatibility and security available. However, some devices such as printers, smart devices (IoT), and older devices are not compatible with this level of encryption. For these devices to work, you must connect them to a network with a lower level of encryption. For more information, please visit the following links: https://kb.netgear.com/000066695/How-to-resolve-issues-connecting-devices-to-your-NETGEAR-WiFi-7-network, and also: https://kb.netgear.com/000063823/My-wireless-devices-are-disconnecting-from-my-WiFi-network-what-do-I-do?language=en_US.
We also recommend ensuring your RBE372 Router and Satellite both are on the latest firmware v12.1.3.12 and then resync your Router and Satellite: https://kb.netgear.com/000070468/, as well as: https://kb.netgear.com/31018/How-do-I-sync-my-Orbi-router-and-satellite.

Verified Purchase:Yes
I found that a X-Box of my grandson could not find / connect to the Orbi 370 Series Dual-Band WiFi 7 Mesh (1 Router + 1 Satellite). Had to run an Ethernet cable to the X-Box. Also the Orbi 370 Series Dual-Band WiFi 7 Mesh (1 Router + 1 Satellite) had only 1 ethernet port as opposed to Orbi I had before with 5. Somewhat disapointing.
This was the second Orbi I purchased as the first one after 7-8 years was not going to be supported anymore. I never hesitated about purchasing the second one since the first one was great and I never had any problems. I would definitely recommend Orbi as the goto router of choice.
