Complicated home network

I have multiple people living in the house with very complicated needs for computing power. The issue is that each has necessary devices that are chatty (meaning they passively use bandwidth to communicate). The wife's are important medical devices. The Adult children have an office in the house and have other needs. Then there is the family overhead - electronic devices, digital assistants, etc. Could I segment an individual network - well yes but the easier fix is to give them each there own network. I have three concurrent networks operating off of a fiber optic WAN. Solves all of my problems. They co-exist wonderfully. Three separate Netgear routers does the trick. Could I do a mesh system (well yes, i could) this was 1/3 the cost and just easier, I give admin rights to each of them for their own router and suddenly it isn't my problem anymore, which as a lazy retired IT professor is the exact way I like it.

Good, works but...

I found it a bit annoying to set up some of the configuration for this router. I'm used to the old Linksys in setting things up. There is way more options but beyond me for Linksys routers. One of the things I did like was MAC address filtering. I don't think I can do that with this router. Other thing that I don't like is constantly having to log back into it. I look up some settings so I can set up my wifi camera. A short few minutes later and I have to log back into it again to refresh the page. That is super annoying. I still can't get my wifi camera to even see the wifi from it even though I have the guest network set up to use the previous parameters that did work with it. So eventually I had to order a new camera and waiting for it to arrive. I also wished it had more ethernet ports. Though my two computers use wifi it is faster over the ether cables. So its a bit limited. Otherwise it is working and speed seems okay. I have not tested it though and not a nerd in that way. For the price it was okay.

Got it on the 2nd try

Once I unplugged all devices, I was connected, firmware updated and all devices connected and talking to each other. Speed test had me at slightly more bandwidth than I’m paying for. Been using Netgear products for a long time and they continue to satisfy my tech needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to install with my tmobile home internet and it works flawlessly, internet speed wifi and ethernet got boosted, I used to get 400mbps and now I'm getting 600 to 800. Easy to install, features good perks.
