so far the size is smaller which is space saving, but the speed and functionality is about the same for my previous Netgear router. However, the price is much more. Hope, Netgear can give more promo discount for returning customers.
I purchased this router in the hope that it would improve the performance of my wireless VR headset. It has certainly met my expectations. I live in a small rural town, and my internet provider just upgraded my service. The RS100 allows me to take full advantage of my 1.2 Gbps internet speed, it easily covers my 1300sq ft condo, and the Wi-Fi 7 capability provides a fast and secure connection with my VR headset. Oh, and I’m a fan of the Armor network security. Bottom line, really good performance at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Huge Upgrade at a Reasonable Price

Bottom line: highly recommend this router for anyone looking for an easy, inexpensive upgrade. My last Netgear router lasted 8 years, but I recently had to upgrade when Netgear notified me that my old router was no longer being supported. I have had this router for about a week, and so far, everything has been great! It has significantly increased my WiFi speeds, and I love how much control there is in the app. It is great to have easy control over the WiFi name and password, and see in real time all the devices that are actively connected to the WiFi. It is reassuring knowing that you can keep your network more secure via the app.

Won’t stay connected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Router works with tv and iPhone but will only stay connected to laptop for 5 minutes or less. Have replaced all cables and wires. Must restart install sequence to get router recognized even then will only stay connected for 5 minutes at a time. Speed is excellent but of no use if can’t stay connected.
