Great Wifi

My tv was getting stuck in on channels, everything was slow - Netgear reached out to me a few months ago to let me know my router (which was very old) was no longer going to be able to support my needs. They offered me a nice discount to replace it. Everything is working GREAT! The TV is no longer getting hosed up and the streaming is strong!

And netgear informed me that they could no longer update the product, they offered a small discount on a new one. I took them up on the offer and it really improved my network speed, actually it tripled my speed! So I'm going to get used to the new network speed easily. Certainly glad that I replaced my old system. Would easily recommend Netgear routers to anyone!!

ok so far but range is doubtful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this nighthawk rs100 because of so many great reviews and the advertised range. so far the connection is good but not the range. my place is only about 700 sq. ft. my router is in the front room and signal is strong, but when i go to the back of the house or in the back patio the signal drops significantly. also when turing on the wi-fi on my phone when i get home it takes several seconds longer to connect compared to my old links's router which was lightning fast. going to give it a couple more weeks to test. but may take it back and try a different brand. my linksys was much better but unfortunately they're harder to find these days.
