Quick, easy setup. Loved the ability to name this new router the same as the old Netgear one it was replacing (including the password) so all other devices around the house connected automatically.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product with insanely fast speeds. I like to game and get pretty competitive, and this router has been incredible. Zero lag and smooth connection. Also, the app gives you control over your connected devices and super simple to use.

Router great, setup difficult

Router is good value, and its wifi has good range. Unfortunately, initial setup is very difficult. Smartphone app does not work well, and PC access for setup via ethernet did not work well, either. After experimenting with app for about an hour, finally was able to enter my choice of SSID and passwords. Having done that, I have a router that I am very happy with--excellent wifi and data speed. Another user recommended calling Netgear tech support for setup advice at the beginning. Probably would have been the best course of action.

Netgear Nighthawk router review

I recently needed to upgrade my old Netgear router and decided to purchase the Nighthawk RS100 Dual-Band 7 wi-fi router. It was easy to install and has slim profile. I am very happy with it's performance and aesthetic. I am very pleased with this purchase.
