Easy setup. Download the app, follow the prompts to connect the modem and the satellite is basically plug and play. It connects automatically. NETGEAR has been in my house since our first computer. Been totally satisfied with all products and will buy again. Thanks NETGEAR !

Solid Hardware Performance, Frustrating Setup

The ORBI app was very frustrating to use when initially setting up the mesh.
When prompting for configuration options the software didn't provide enough information to make an informed decision, requiring me to jump between the app and a browser to research details of the option.
While doing this research the app would occasionally restart, requiring me to sign in and restart the setup process multiple times.
The app also restartedtwice during the satellite integration, once when my phone Screensaver started after an extended wait for the app to complete a firmware update, and a second time for no apparent reason.
Each time the app restarted I had to start the setup from the beginning, including firmware updates that had just been completed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Networking seems to be more fluent, connections are seeming to be more synchronous, still adjusting to the security coverage of the ORBI 370 units.

Great mesh wifi system

I live in a 4-level town house so a mesh system seemed to be the best solution. Bought the new Orbi 370 to replace an Orbi that is no longer supported (7 years old). Very easy to install and get up and running. Wish this unit had a 3rd channel for IoT devices but I can certainly live the 2 channel systems. Great performance all thru the house.

We decided to use a mesh system when we connected with a fiber optic cable for WiFi. This Netgear was super easy to set up, with great directions via their app. Have great coverage throughout our home. Great product!
