[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 50-pint dehumidifier with a built-in pump is a game-changer for humid spaces.
It quietly pulls moisture from the air and pumps it out automatically, so you don’t have to worry about emptying the tank.
It's quite effective at quickly reducing humidity in large spaces, and its energy efficiency design helps keep electricity cost low even with continuous use.
Easy to use, reliable, and low-maintenance, just set it and forget it.

Very loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier is very loud and scares my dog. I was so excited to try this and was going to purchase a second one for the basement if it worked well but it’s far too loud for me. It also seems to make the room warmer instead of cooler like most dehumidifiers do.
Response from geappliances.comBy Adrian, GE_Appliances, July 17, 2025
We are more than happy to provide guidance with this dehumidifier. Compressor sounds, which may be loud, are normal. Clicking sounds when the dehumidifier or compressor turns off and on, and when the automatic shutoff switch is working is normal. It is also normal to hear air movement from the fan. We will however pass your feedback along to our product team for review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with this dehumidifier! It works fast and efficiently — I was genuinely surprised by how much moisture it removed from my bathroom. The large water tank means fewer trips to empty it, and the built-in pump makes draining effortless. It runs quietly with just a soft hum. I also love how easy it is to move around, thanks to smooth wheels and convenient side handles. The modern, sleek design looks great in any room, and the controls are intuitive. It’s also energy-efficient, which is a big plus for long-term use. Maintenance is simple, and the filter reminder is a helpful touch. Overall, it’s powerful, stylish, and extremely convenient.
One-line summary:
A sleek, quiet, energy-efficient dehumidifier that’s easy to use and surprisingly powerful.
