Oven door is dangerously hot to touch when in use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First. new range in 30 years ...looks nice but SO DANGEROUS. Entire door and top surface get hot enough to cause burn when oven is on and everything on top becomes very hot with even just one burner on. I was told it operates as designed. Small simmer burners at back are useless if any other burner is on. Sad statement of designers and agencies paid to protect consumers. I wouldn't allow small children in my kitchen when oven door can get 170° 'as designed .

lousy instructions

I bought this a month ago and am sorry I bought a whirlpool There are no operating instructions with it so although it says it has convection baking and air frying, I have no idea how to make it work...''

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new Whirlpool 30-inch, gas range — after a dozen uses, and it heats up quickly and evenly with no hot spots. The burners deliver strong, consistent flame power, and the oven reaches the desired temperature fast. A big plus is the self-cleaning mode, which makes maintenance easy. I also appreciate the added safety features built into the design. Overall, this stove feels sleek, robust, and a solid upgrade in my kitchen.

Love the extra air bake and fry features

Great look and features

I do notice the smell of gas when i use the oven and frequent stating of the pilot and gas flow. Is this to me expected? I have used the oven several times but only noticed the gas smell when i last used it.
