A failed gardener, now a successful and grateful "Gardyner"

I felt a little anxious spending this much nicer on something that I might not like. I love gardening but between my career, my kids, and my health issues, I just can't manage to keep up with a "real" garden. I was hoping that this would be something I could manage. But I worried that since I'd already failed as a gardener, I'd also fail as a "gardyner".
Well, I'm here with a five star review after a year with my Gardyn. I have easily kept up with it, even with two major product launches, a severe lung infection that left me on prednisone and round the clock nebs for months, and three close family deaths (both my husband's parents and one of mine).
So that's how easy it is to manage the Gardyn. We've started with the florists starter pack but over time we've adjusted the plants to better fit our lives. We use our ten credits per month to get whatever we want (including more "expensive" 3 credit plants and plant food). We now exclusively eat lettuce we grew ourselves. We have so many flowers! And we're eating handfuls of peas.
I am so happy that I took the risk! I know that technically I can manage without Kelby (the subscription AI assistant) but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have living plants after all we've been through if it wasn't for the app keeping track.
We're planning on getting a second Gardyn at the end of the summer. We have the larger one, the Gardyn Home, but it's not big enough to grow enough strawberries and tomatoes, etc. My secret plan is to eventually have three because that should give us all the produce we need including cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, peas, lettuce, kale, plus various flowers and herbs.
The Gardyn makes me happy every day! We've had such an awful year and having my hobby back (in a new form) was so important for my mental health. And I think having the grow lights, flowers and green living things was good for my family too. It's also been a fun activity to do with my 14 who doesn't share many interests with me. They also love gardening and this is something we can do together.

Oh wow, this made our day (okay, our whole week) 🥹

You were never a failed gardener, you just needed a Gardyn that works with your life, not against it. And look at you now! Growing your own lettuce, eating handfuls of peas, filling your home with flowers... we are SO here for it 🌸💚

We're sorry to hear everything your family has been through this past year. We're so glad Gardyn could be a little bright spot through it all. And the fact that it's become something you and your 14-year-old do together? That's honestly one of the best things we've ever heard!

Thank you for taking the leap and for sharing your story with us. You're exactly why we do this. Happy Gardyning! 🌱✨

Thank you so much for sharing this! 💚 Fresh greens, that gorgeous dark mustard and a little sunflower peeking out, your Gardyn is absolutely thriving!

“This makes me want to eat right” that truly is what it’s all about. Grow healthy, live tasty! 🌱✨
