It carries meds, makeup, hair products, high end jewelry, important papers, extra outfit with pajamas for first night just in case your luggage does not make it on first day of vacation. I used for my sleep apnea equipment plus all the other items I listed and still had room for items I purchased on vacation. Very secure in the knowledge I had all these important items right overhead if needed during travel. Locks are quality and very secure.
