Extremely disappointed

I purchased the Samsonite Outline Pro on October 1st, and just 12 days later, I’m extremely disappointed with the quality. I’ve only used the suitcase for two trips, during which I solely transported it through the airport and to the location where I was staying. Despite the minimal use, today I encountered a serious issue with the handle. It started to get stuck when lowering it, and it wouldn’t retract fully. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the handle was actually broken.
For a brand that prides itself on durability, this is highly unacceptable, especially after such limited use. I expected far more from Samsonite, particularly at this price point. I now find myself in need of a solution—either a way to repair the handle or a refund. This is not the level of quality I anticipated when purchasing a Samsonite product.
Please advise on how to proceed with either repairing the luggage or obtaining a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got it so durability remains to be seen. However my last Samsonite carry on was a college graduation gift that lasted nineteen years following me across more than 70 mountain ski resorts across multiple continents, hemispheres above and below the equator. Basically , a bomb proof essential piece of travel gear.
First impressions of this bag say Luggage had come a long way since then. Love the ability to cinch down contents that’s been added & I’m quite sure the USB plug will come in handy assuming my separate battery makes it thru security/customs. Leaving for Barcelona & a roadtrip thru the Basque & Pyrenees tomorrow & managed to pack at least ten days of clothing into the international approved dimensions which is almost hard to believe & there’s room for bringing something fun on the trip home with the expand ability function. We’ll see how the bag performs in the real world, but so far feeling pretty happy about the purchase!

I have used this case about 6 times and the rubber grip on the collapsible pull handle is splitting on the corners already. I would have added photos but the upload feature will not work.

I’ve had the suitcase for 3 months and have already drug it all over the cobblestone streets of Italy. It has handled well and I really like the internal compression system. I was able to fit 2 weeks of clothes into it and a backpack. Please note this is an International Carry-On. The only change I would offer is having extension capabilities.

The Outine Pro bag easily gets me through the airport and down airplane aisles. Its wheels and handles make moving around in crowds manageable. The inside of the bag makes packing and unpacking efficient. It has been a good purchase.

The Samsonite OUTLINE PRO is a fantastic suitcase that complies with European measurements, which are more restrictive than those in the US (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). It's very elegant, and its ease of use and ergonomic design are highly appreciated. Traveling with it is a real pleasure.
Its integrated compartments and storage pockets make the process of packing, which can sometimes be bothersome, quite enjoyable. These integrated storage pockets truly make life easier. Additionally, it features a TSA lock, which is a great advantage.
The only downside is its weight of 3.5 kg (approximately 7.7 lbs), which reduces the available weight for packing when the carry-on bag allowances are 10 kg (approximately 22 lbs). Therefore, there's only 6.5 kg (approximately 14.3 lbs) remaining for belongings. However, the sturdier build indicates that it's a high-quality suitcase that will last for several years.
