having issues at first use

i got this as a christmas gift, and the first time i used it, the zipper started getting misaligned and the stitching is coming undone. i’ve had great samsonite suitcases in the past, so i’m not sure what the issues is with this one. i’m very disappointed though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have only used it once but that one time it worked great. My goal was to find a new roller bag to replace my worn out Tumi. I actually bought this bag and the Away bag over Black Friday weekend. I loaded both of them while expanded super heavily and walked them over my carpeted area of my house. Outline Pro won out. I also tested the space available with Outline Pro vs my current, circa 2012 Tumi and again the Outline Pro won out.
Outline Pro was also the top rated luggage by Consumer Reports for 2023.
The only thing that is a bit "sticky" on the Outline Pro is the button you push down to extend the handle but that is fine.

Zipper broke

This suitcase has literally changed my life. I can't imagine without it. Everyone told me not to buy this suitcase, that I was a fool. My wife left me, my children gone, my company fired me. None of that matters anymore, because I have Starshine (my new suitcase). Thank you Samsonite, thank you for everything.

Front wheel isn’t stable

I bought this carry-on one month ago and the first time I used it I noticed that one of the front wheels was not even with the others. This makes the bag hard to roll and stay upright. Also, the handle is very wobbly. I thought the product would be better for the price I paid.

It has everything I want in a luggage!

I love this luggage! I was thinking about getting the aluminum luggage but when I saw this model I fell in love with it. It has all the features that I was looking for and more. I love that it's 100% recycled and has antimicrobial handles. I tried using my powerbank for the usb port and it works. The only thing I worry about is the size. This luggage is bigger than the usual carry-on bags. This might not fit the over head bin. But over all, this is a good luggage.

I absolutely love this suitcase. I have the grey and my husband has the black color. We took them on a 6 month trip to Europe and Asia and did not have one problem at all. Cobblestone streets, many airplanes and trains, and packing and unpacking daily. Sure, the outside gets a little beat up but its a freaking suitcase, what do you expect and why does it need to look pretty? It never broke and the scratches on it are like souvenirs :)
