Shell is not durable on scratches

I bought this to replace my old medium Samsonite spinner (also a hard shell), which I had used for more than 7 or 8 years. This new one is light weight, spins smoothly, an inch bigger than the other medium spinners of Samsonite's (of the same level), and great that it has a compressor panel/divider that some others don't have. However, the only complaint I have so far is: on 1st use, the scratches on the outside of the shell are super visible and there are so many of them that it looks like it has been used for 15 times, but in reality it was just 1 time! Pretty disappointed on that given it's a Samsonite.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
