The lugage handle broke at the first use. Very beautiful, but very fragile lugagge unfortunatelly.

I have now used this on a round trip flight America to Greece and back. All the zippers have held up as well as handles. I love the inside organization pockets. There is a roomy wet pocket portion that stored all my lotion and sunscreen bottles well. Very spacious and as of 6/18/2023 met the dimension requirements for international and domestic flights in Greece and America. The wheels held up being lugged over cobbles stone streets and I don't notice any smells from shoes and laundry. I appreciate the hardshell for waterproofing and had adequate handles on the top and side for lifting. A great simple design on the suitcase as well.

Cheap Handle - like others have complained

The retractable handle broke at the beginning of a 3 month European trip! The difficulty of traveling with no handle and no way to have it repaired without buying a new piece of luggage (defeats the point of the warranty). I am not going to repeat what others have said. Basically, the handle did not hold up under the weight. It snapped in the airport. UGH. Getting it repaired/replaced internationally has not been easy. Help!

A bad choise

I just used my luggage one time. These is what happen! Iam really disappointed! I always bought Samsonite products but this time was a really big mistake.

NOT Scratch Resistant!

I received the 3-piece Samsonite OUTLINE PRO in Shiraz Burgundy for Christmas 2023. I registered all 3 pieces on 12/25/23 because I was excited to use them the following day for a vacation to Mexico. I noticed that they scratched easily when I laid them on our hardwood floors to pack. They did NOT fair well on the trip. After one use, the 2 pieces are completely covered in scratches & look like I’ve had them for 5 years and they’re barely 2 weeks old.
Pros: Great design. Light weight. I love the color: Shiraz Burgundy
Cons: NOT scratch resistant.

With one trip made, overall it is a good, if not great, suitcase. I purchased it due to Consumer Reports giving it a top rating, however the exterior already is showing scuff marks and the construction (particularly the retractable handle) are not has robust as I had hoped / imagined it would be.

Great bag but vulnerable to airline abuse

Bought this not long ago. On the second flight it came out scratched and scuffed, which I can accept. But there is also a puncture in the upper corner that has left a lip. Now I'm afraid of that spot getting caught again and the puncture being ripped further open. I didn't notice until after going through customs and immigration. After that the airline didn't want to hear about and has refused any compensation.
Bottom line: It's a great bag, but check it carefully for damage before leaving the baggage claim area.
