pull-out telescoping handle is a real problem

The suitcase itself looks fine, but the pull-out telescoping handle is a real problem. It doesn’t open or close smoothly at all—you have to shake it around and fight with it just to get it to lock into place. Every time we use it, it feels like a struggle. For something as basic and important as the handle, this is really disappointing and makes travel more frustrating than it should be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good looking, strong zippers, wheels working great on cobblestones all over Europe. I have only bought Samsonite luggage for the last 40 years because they outlast their 10 yr warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. Lightweight. Seems durable. Lock was easy enough to set. We’ll see how it holds up as a checked in luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd one I owned. Missing a star because handle broke on original one after about 4 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High-quality, versatile, lightweight carry-on with a classy color and an elegant design. I just took it for its first flight, as checked luggage. It arrived on the carousel like new.
