[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was given the outline spinner carry on as a christmas gift ahead of an upcoming international trip. since i didnt buy it myself, i decided to double check that it would work as my carry on. i was sure it would, since it’s marketed as a carry on and samsonite is a well known suitcase brand, so imagine how shocked i was to see that this suitcase doesnt fit the carry on dimensions for most airlines. why label it a “carry on” if you know that it doesnt qualify as a carry on on most airlines? why mislead your customers? either dont call it a carry on or just make the stupid suitcase fit the dimensions of a carry on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Carry-On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this suitcase a week before my 9 day to Central America and it was the best purchase I could’ve made. I was able to pack clothes for 9 days, shoes, toiletries, etc. and I didn’t even have to expand the suitcase. It held up great and my favorite feature was the USB charging port on the outside. I was able to put my battery pack on the inside and charge my phone at any time while I was walking around the airport. It fit perfectly in the overhead bin and the handles made it super easy to lift up. This really is the perfect carry-on bag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Busted wheels in 11 months

I transitioned from a previous model Somsonite bag that made it ~7 years, Samsonite discontinued that version moved into this bag still under the Samsonite 10 year warranty and in 10-11 months 3 of the wheels busted apart - unfortunately while on a trip - will not buy again - I am a frequent traveler

Not a carry on, 1 inch to big for most airlines.

I got this suitcase because I loved the look and needed a new carry-on bag. Finally, I packed it up and took it on a trip, but I learned that it did not qualify as a carry-on and that I had to check it. I ended up having to pay almost the cost of the suitcase in checked bag fees over my entire trip. After some more research, I found that very few airlines view the size of this bag as a carry-on. Why label it that way and call it carry-on if that is not accurate? Or just make it an inch shorter.
