I bought the same model 4 or 5 years ago and it's been amazing so just ordered another one in case they become discontinued. A single heater heats my 1000 square foot condo . It takes time for it to bring the temperature up, but after 30 minutes or so, it always does the job.

Where is the quality Assurance?

I bought one of these heaters approximatly a year ago, about 4 months in and the button on the top broke. Talked with Vornado Customer Service and got a warranty replacement about a week later. Well Warranty replacement stopped working after 3 weeks of use. 2 units now straight to the garbage. Seems like a good product in theory, but there is just no quality assurance with these items.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
