Very pleased so far and still getting used to features

I bought this a month ago. I actually bought two of these and then I bought the EVAP40 evaporative humidifier. I got two of these because I wanted to see about balancing the north side of the house with the south side of the house and see if I could use just these mist humidifiers (MISTIC™ 6 Top-Fill Ultrasonic Whole Room Humidifier) and not even have to set up the evaporative in the middle of the house. I really like the ability to carry by the handle on these mist humidifiers or just slide the cover back and fill it from the top and that’s usually what I do. I usually do not carry this by the handle just to not put so much pressure on the plastic handle. If I run the mist humidifiers at full blast, it still does leave a film on my dark cabinets or the dark wood of the bed footboard it’s not bad and it wipes right off, but I was impressed with the fact that I could have this in my bedroom and the fact that it was causing any kind of mist on the kitchen cabinets means it was really getting some reach. I could tell with moisture in the air immediately, just with these two mist humidifiers, the house is 2300 ft.² and even though I live in the south I live in northern Alabama and it gets really dry and then we get humidity and then it plunge really dry again so I determined that leaving these mist humidifiers running full blast all the time one on each side of the house wasn’t going to cut it so I went ahead and set up the evaporative humidifier in the middle of the house. I think in spite of the square footage if the layout of the house was different, I probably could’ve gotten away with just using these two mist humidifiers. I also determine that if I run it on lower medium, I don’t have a mist film on the cabinets. To be fair, I was running these wide open 24/7. Also, nothing was getting on the floor in front of the mist humidifiers. We have very hard lime water so I actually think the mist was the lime and I’m hoping that these humidifiers can survive our lime scaled tap water. I have taken it apart and cleaned it after the first week that was pretty easy following the instructions. I’m very glad that Vornado sells the filters for both. There’s not really a filter for the mist humidifier, but it has some type of pad or something that you need to put in it to help bust up hard water sediment. I don’t really know the science behind it, but I just vaguely remember reading that and then it also came with pads if you wanted to use aromatherapy, but I’m not using that. When it runs empty it just stops and shows E for empty and then I just turn it off and refill it. I’ve even refilled it while it was running and never had an issue, but I try to go ahead and turn it off. I had a little bit of confusion on the mist humidifiers when I first unpacked them the pieces came apart and I thought oh my gosh, I can’t get this back together but following the instructions in the book, I understood how it came apart and fit back together and it’s pretty sensible. I was impressed with the design. It’s only been a month. I don’t know how long they will last but thus far I’m pretty happy and I have not been given any incentive for this review. I’m just somebody who about every two years frustratingly seeks out humidifiers to deal with this dry climate in the winter. Oh there is an option to make this a warm mist humidifier. I have not used that I’ve really just bought it because I wanted cool mist moisture put back in the air and the other ones that I could find just didn’t put a lot of output. My family could tell a difference even with just these two running on each side of the house it’s making everybody breathe easier at night.

It’s good but some settings didn’t work for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vorando Humidifier came well packaged, all secured in its place. Right out of the box it was very easy to fill up and turn on. It worked overnight on high setting and the tank was still half full in the morning, which is great. We placed it in the bedroom and the air humidity level was just what I wanted. My issues started next morning when I tried to adjust the settings, read all the instructions but unfortunately buttons responsible for mist and temperature control do not work. They beep but nothing happens, so I have to use this humidifier only on high setting/cold mist. This doesn’t bother me much but it would have been nice to have options.

No more dry air

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vornado humidifier was fairly easy to set up following the instruction manual, which explained the purpose of each component and the buttons on the touch screen menu. The humidifier consists of three main parts - the tank, lid, and base. The tank & lid are removable from the base so it can be filled with water. The lid has a moveable handle which is convenient for carrying when refilling the tank. There is also a top fill opening to refill using a pitcher or cup. Once I placed the tank & lid back onto the base, I plugged it in and turned it on then started to humidify the room right away. The mist is extremely fine and very quiet so there is no noise pollution. I initially tested it with only the tank about 20% full of water and it lasted for quite a while, so I imagine a full tank at a 6 liter capacity (3 gallon output) would last around a full day depending on the humidity levels on the given day. At the top of the screen is the humidity indicator light, then menu buttons toggle the power on & off, mist setting, Auto mode, mist temperature (warm or cool), timer, and night mode. It also comes with an option to add essential oils. This humidifier is especially helpful in the colder months when the air is drier. Just make sure not to place it around plants or items you don’t want moisture on!

Quiet and Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado Mistic 6 Ultrasonic Humidifier is a whole room humidifier that evenly distributes up to 3 gallons of humidity per day throughout the whole room. It comes with scent pads that add aromatherapy to the humidified air. You can choose warm or cool mist and there is a timer so you can set it to your start and stop preference. You can tell a change in the air almost immediately after turning it on. The tank is very large and holds quite a lot of water, making the run time long. The tank is easy to fill, it has a handle that makes it convenient to carry and place back in the machine. I love how quiet this humidifier is, you can barely hear anything while it’s running. I live in a very humid climate and this humidifier is great in cutting the humidity in my home. My son used to get frequent nosebleeds and since using this, they have lease significantly. I’m still getting used to the settings, but the included instruction manual is super helpful with that.

This product is truly excellent, very easy to set up, and has significantly improved my allergy symptoms. In addition, its compact design allows me to easily move it between rooms. I absolutely love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vornado Ultrasonic Humidifier is large in size may seem a little bulky. But it is perfect for large areas. It does have a lot of different components that do not interlock or snap together. I feel that would have been key to making this more portable. It has several different settings each allowing you to customize the humidity you want in the area. Overall, this is great for those who will leave it stationary and want hold/cold mist at their fingertips.

It tells you when you have too much or too little humidity in your room. The performance is outstanding! It holds a lot of water and works good in bigger rooms. It's easy to clean. It blows out hot or cold mist. It also has aromatherapy pods. It has everything you will need in an humidifier!
