Very pleased so far and still getting used to features

I bought this a month ago. I actually bought two of these and then I bought the EVAP40 evaporative humidifier. I got two of these because I wanted to see about balancing the north side of the house with the south side of the house and see if I could use just these mist humidifiers (MISTIC™ 6 Top-Fill Ultrasonic Whole Room Humidifier) and not even have to set up the evaporative in the middle of the house. I really like the ability to carry by the handle on these mist humidifiers or just slide the cover back and fill it from the top and that’s usually what I do. I usually do not carry this by the handle just to not put so much pressure on the plastic handle. If I run the mist humidifiers at full blast, it still does leave a film on my dark cabinets or the dark wood of the bed footboard it’s not bad and it wipes right off, but I was impressed with the fact that I could have this in my bedroom and the fact that it was causing any kind of mist on the kitchen cabinets means it was really getting some reach. I could tell with moisture in the air immediately, just with these two mist humidifiers, the house is 2300 ft.² and even though I live in the south I live in northern Alabama and it gets really dry and then we get humidity and then it plunge really dry again so I determined that leaving these mist humidifiers running full blast all the time one on each side of the house wasn’t going to cut it so I went ahead and set up the evaporative humidifier in the middle of the house. I think in spite of the square footage if the layout of the house was different, I probably could’ve gotten away with just using these two mist humidifiers. I also determine that if I run it on lower medium, I don’t have a mist film on the cabinets. To be fair, I was running these wide open 24/7. Also, nothing was getting on the floor in front of the mist humidifiers. We have very hard lime water so I actually think the mist was the lime and I’m hoping that these humidifiers can survive our lime scaled tap water. I have taken it apart and cleaned it after the first week that was pretty easy following the instructions. I’m very glad that Vornado sells the filters for both. There’s not really a filter for the mist humidifier, but it has some type of pad or something that you need to put in it to help bust up hard water sediment. I don’t really know the science behind it, but I just vaguely remember reading that and then it also came with pads if you wanted to use aromatherapy, but I’m not using that. When it runs empty it just stops and shows E for empty and then I just turn it off and refill it. I’ve even refilled it while it was running and never had an issue, but I try to go ahead and turn it off. I had a little bit of confusion on the mist humidifiers when I first unpacked them the pieces came apart and I thought oh my gosh, I can’t get this back together but following the instructions in the book, I understood how it came apart and fit back together and it’s pretty sensible. I was impressed with the design. It’s only been a month. I don’t know how long they will last but thus far I’m pretty happy and I have not been given any incentive for this review. I’m just somebody who about every two years frustratingly seeks out humidifiers to deal with this dry climate in the winter. Oh there is an option to make this a warm mist humidifier. I have not used that I’ve really just bought it because I wanted cool mist moisture put back in the air and the other ones that I could find just didn’t put a lot of output. My family could tell a difference even with just these two running on each side of the house it’s making everybody breathe easier at night.

Top-Fill Ultrasonic Humidifier

It felt so dry in my house but now with the moisture in the air I can breathe and sleep much better. It’s got a sleek design and is super easy to set up and use. I love the aromatherapy option to add a little fragrance to the air. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to add a little moisture to their room.

Sleek Design, Well Constructed Humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with chronic sinus issues and even had surgery for it, I rely on humidifiers and have gone through several brands/products. Vornado’s humidifier has great qualities- the cooling/heating mist option, tank size, sleek design and ultrasonic technology (no filter hassle). The size of this humidifier is perfect for my living room and dining room open area, its super quiet and perfect for my plants too. Needing to use distilled water is the only con, but I would take that over replacing filters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier works wonderfully. The top-fill tank makes it easy to use, and it keeps moisture moving evenly through the whole room. The display shows the humidity level clearly, and the auto setting keeps the air comfortable without constant adjusting. It’s quiet at night, holds plenty of water, and runs for hours without refilling. My skin and sinuses feel better, and the air feels softer and easier to breathe. Even my son, who has asthma, seems to breathe more comfortably with this running. It’s a solid, reliable humidifier that’s truly worth having in the home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado Mistic 6 is honestly one of the easiest humidifiers to live with. You just pour water in from the top, turn it on, and it quietly does its thing. It puts out plenty of mist and keeps the room at the humidity you set without you babysitting it.
The only thing to watch out for is mineral buildup if you use tap water, but that’s pretty normal for ultrasonic humidifiers. Overall, it’s a reliable, low-stress humidifier that works really well.

It’s not a complete eyesore either!

Compact and aesthetically pleasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We blast the heater 24/7 now that it’s winter, and this humidifier has helped a lot. It is much easier to sleep at night, and I noticed I am no longer waking up with dry skin and a cough.
The humidifier is super simple to set up, as you just fill the tank with water and plug it in. The design is sleek and pretty compact, so it fits perfectly on top of my dresser next to my air purifier. You can set the fan to your liking, though it can also automatically adjust based on the humidity you set. I like to add in a few essential oil drops to create a spa-like vibe as well. I personally use it for my room, but I’m sure it works great in larger spaces like living rooms.

A must have this flu season

We turn this on all day, the is very easy and very convenient to fill. Size fit to every corner of our home and reaches a wide range in our room to accommodate everyone's needs. With this humidifier my daughter nose has been moistened so she doesn't get that dry flaky mucus during the cold season. I recommend every family to have it it's great for your health.
