The texture, colors, and attention to detail is fantastic. The finished build is beautiful! There were a few times during this build that were a little challenging, (because the colors are printed a little off on the instructions). It was a challenge to decipher the green rods at certain steps which added another level of interest to this build. The box was a great reference tool to help when needed. :-) My set arrived complete and earlier than expected. This is my 4th Art set and is a new favorite! I like and appreciate that each set that I own from the 'LEGO Art' set has a different texture quality and has been created to refect the art and each artist respectfully.
This was a fun set to put together. There were a ton of small pieces which was a little tedious at times, but split into smaller chunks was quite enjoyable. I was a little disappointed when I got to bag 21 and there was a piece missing (and one piece in the bag that wasn't a part of the set at all) and that the piece I need isn't currently available. I am now on a waiting list for that piece. Overall it was fun to build, looks great (better from a distance) and was a great addition to my Lego Art collection.
The many different pastel pieces were sometimes hard to differentiate in the book - but other than that, this build - this set, is perfect! I have it proudly displayed in my entry!
I’m a late bloomer to Legos and have been falling hard mostly for the wall arts. When I saw this set I knew I had to have it and it did not disappoint! Loved everything about it and only had a few issues with figuring out the different green colored “sticks” but once I got that issue solved it pretty much built itself.
Not only is Claude Monet one of my favorite artists, the color, size, and difficulty of this build all lend itself to someone who wants to see art they already enjoy reflected in a different medium. The colors are also all different enough to make this a challenging, but fun build.
