Beautiful & Very Detailed
on July 27, 2026

Reviewing this piece as I am currently building the Van Gogh sunflower set, which is much simpler than the Monet. It took me 3.5 weeks to build the Monet set. As beautiful as it is, I had to take some breaks because I was overwhelmed at times (started realizing that it wasn’t as relaxing as I intended it to be due to how much effort I was putting to make sure it was right). Nonetheless it is a beautiful peace that sits perfectly on my shelf next to the Mona Lisa and MilkWay sets. I’d recommend getting it for anyone that is contemplating on it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This piece is beautiful! The colors and layers of textures really make it pop. It is very serene looking. I can't wait to display it in my LEGO corner of my classroom as a relaxing piece for my students and myself.

Best building experiencene!

I loved this one. The colors, depth, and different pieces used to depict the impressionist painting style were beautiful. I also loved the podcast that went along with it that talked about Monet’s life, the painting, and Lego’s interpretation of it. I started organizing the pieces by color just to make the build last longer! I absolutely loved it!

Relaxing and Interesting Build
on July 1, 2026

I built this to relax and “unplug” from a stressful IT job. I love art, so I knew I’d probably enjoy building this set, which I did! I just didn’t expect to become hooked on Lego at my age. This was a lot of fun and it won’t be the last Lego art set I build! I also appreciate that I could build this from the printed instruction book for a complete screen-free experience.

I feel like I'm in Giverny

This was a fun build, and very true to Monet's paintings of his garden. We hung it up next to a poster from the St. Louis Art Museum's Giverny show.

Love it

I love this Lego. It is quite expensive but I think it is worth it. It is quite large a and a lot of peices. It is more of a tedious build but if you are okay with repetition and a lot of small peices I’d say get it.

Fiddly but gorgeous

I was unsure of this because the colors are so much less muted than in the painting, but it really is beautiful when complete with a nice sense of depth to the piece. My only complaint is that I found it very hard to tell some of the colors apart in the manual and had to keep referring to photos to figure out whether I was supposed to be using light brown, green, or yellow, or the light green or blue pieces.
