[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I was a little intimidated when I first saw this set as I haven't played with legos for decades and the design looks complex. I was happy to see it comes with a booklet that guides you through your build, and all the pieces come separated and numbered by bag, which is so convenient. The otter design is so cute and unique. I love the little accent pieces like the little shells and blades of grass. The pieces feel durable and good quality. This is such a great toy for adults who like to work with their hands. I'm going to have hours of entertainment with this one. I highly recommend it!

Where is the tail?

Being a sea otter biologist I was so excited to get this set. However, halfway through the building process I realized an important part of the otter’s anatomy is missing. The tail, it is simply not there, not even a hint of it underwater! I am a bit disappointed in the build after realizing there is no tail.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adorable, especially for animal lovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was thrilled to do this set! The instructions were detailed and easy to follow as always and the finished product is so fun. It’s a bigger set so it took him a while but he was able to finish it in one night. He loved that it was a unique set and something more realistic that other sets he’s gotten in the past - it’s definitely more of a display piece. If you or someone you love is an animal lover this is a perfect gift for them. The baby otter is tiny and adorable - you can remove it from the mom or leave it there. Overall this set really is a great value and fun for all ages!

Perfect for animal lovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another amazing set from Lego! My 8 year old son is a huge animal lover and we had so much fun putting this set together as a family. This is a bit larger than the sets we normally put together, but the instructions always make putting sets together seamless. The otters are so cute and I highly recommend this set for any animal lover!
