I bought this case not realizing that it was a new design of the original defender. I have had the otterbox defender on nearly every iPhone i have ever had and have really enjoyed them. This however being only 2 piece construction disappointed me. I've always enjoyed the rubber backing on the defenders but this has a slippery plastic back on it. also, I ordered the camo one, and the camo is simply a sticker they placed on the back plastic. On my specific case the sticker was not centered correctly and being the perfectionist that I am it has really bothered me. To summarize, this case has not lived up to the quality i have come to expect from otterbox and I have been pretty disappointed. It certainly doesn't appear to be worth the money especially when you compare it to other similar cases that are priced below it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received my first iPhone in 2007, nineteen years ago. I have had an OtterBox Defender on each of my four iPhones since. I cannot count the times that I have dropped my phone without a scratch. There are copycats, but there is none better than OtterBox.
