The vending machine is amazing! More so that it actually works! Im thrilled! You do need to pay close attention to instructions, parts & placement when building. Anyone going for speed, you'll likely have a non functioning set in the end & need to start over. Its perfect! We'll worth it!

This set is absolutely one of the most innovative production sets created. This is what makes the Ideas theme so special. Everything from the build experience to the quality feel and functionality coupled with minifigure prizes is a great overall package! Whether you want it for the build experience, the look and feel or the minifigures themselves this set is a worthy display piece and conversation starter. You could put candy in the balls, raffle tickets, or even money! Ideas sets rarely go on sale and this is a set every collector and then some should grab.

This is one of the most amazing LEGO sets I’ve ever assembled. The design is beautiful, the winding mechanism actually functions. It won’t turn without a coin! The build is straight forward. The mechanism is no more complicated than some of the transmissions in the LEGO Technic automobiles. I’ve cycled all 16 balls through the model more than once without a single jam or failure. It works very smoothly. This is a model that will be on permanent display. I’ll fill the balls with Christmas candy, Easter candy, etc. The mini figure of the designer is a nice touch. Definitely recommend.

From the minute i saw this i knew i had to buy it as soon as it came out and that’s exactly what i did. i ignored all the reviews on youtube about the price being way too high because i simply don’t care about the price when it comes to legos. This set is the best set i’ve ever built and owned and i really hope lego makes more functional sets like this because i will buy them all. i 100% recommend picking this up. worth it.

Super cool idea especial since you can put other little things in the balls. The only thing that I do not like is the minfigures. I think they could be better or your could have given a standard 10 but put 5 blind bags in so people would get different ones and adding some rare or special figures. Because it's in a bling bag in the box you don't have to worry about making sure all the pieces are in for those mini figures. Would have been a nice interesting twist to this product. Other than that as soon as I saw it I knew I was going to get it. Thats why I gave it a 4 instead of the 5.

I was very excited for this one as I loved these machines as a kid when they were around at every store. I was disappointed that there are not enough capsules to visually make it look full. I would even have been happy if there was a separate set you can purchase to add more.
