Gotta be honest, I primarily bought this set for the new colors of classic space new knight minifigures as Space was my pirmary theme growing up in the 80s and Castle was also and interest. That said, my 10 year old twins are obsessed with vending machines and minifigures in general so I'm busy finding fill ins for the half of the minifigures I pilfered. The mechanics of this thing are awesome and it's overall a very clever build and looks great. I do think it could have been at least $50 cheaper due to the number of parts and fact that it's not a licensed product.

The build was absolutely fun and engineered flawlessly! After building , my granddaughters immediately confiscated the set and putting some of their favorite minifigures in the orbs and the set WORKS and is VERY durable with heavy play!

I mainly bought this for the figures. Turns out, it was very fun to build. The machine is actually fully functional. The design is spot on...you would think it's an actual gumball machine...not made from Legos. I don't regret buying this and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes gumball machines or collects minifigures.

This set is AMAZING. It was a fun build, especially as I've only a tiny bit of experience with mechanisms. It was especially satisfying to have it work - and on the first try! I am going to have fun finding new things to put in the balls. The minifigures are very cute and a great addition to my city, the minifig of the set creator is an excellent touch.
