Worst build ever for me

You must build this on a hard level surface at the beginning or else it won't work. Too many frivols builds in the middle for no reason. It's cute when its's done but a challenge to build with not much payoff.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Grandma Vibes

I’m not a grandma yet, but when I saw this set I knew I needed it in case I ever get to be one. Having this made me excited for the day a little child will come into my home for a visit, run into my awaiting arms, and beg to turn that little knob for a fun surprise. One request from Lego, with much begging and pleasing, please oh please can I buy more pieces to make extra capsules? About the build: the inner working mechanics were the challenge. I feared if i missed one step or piece I’d have to start all over again, so i took my time and studied the steps. Before I moved past those critical steps and onto the simple outer parts I tested the machine. You should have seen my utter delight at it working properly! I clapped and giggled. My husband thought me adorable.

Fun Dispenser

It was fun building the gumball dispenser. However, it was disappointing to wait for the clear plastics (major parts) to be replaced by LEGO as they were cracked.

I built this together with my son. He had amazing fun building the structure. I had to help with the mechanism. He still takes it apart and rebuilds it from time to time. We also had a lot of fun just playing with the finished build.

We bought this for our daughter's 9th birthday as her big present! We really hoped it would challenge her and it did! However, she still completed it within a day, lol! Very fun that she can continue to use it and play with it after the build and it is a great conversation piece! The price is high, but in the end, it was a great gift for our master Lego builder!

This was everything I expected. The build was fun, the little minifigures in the machine are adorable, the mechanics are fun, and it looks great being displayed. I do wish there were a few more balls for the price just to fill it up more, but other than that I loved it.

This set made me smile before I even opened the box. It instantly reminded me of the gashapon machines in Japan—that irresistible combo of mystery, anticipation, and “just one more turn.” I was genuinely excited to build this one, and it did not disappoint.

From a build perspective, it’s engaging and rewarding. LEGO really leaned into the engineering here, and it shows.
My one small wish? I would’ve loved the minifigures inside to be more in line with a collectible minifigure series—a little more unique, a little more “exclusive capsule energy.”
